"Every problem carries its own chance — to reflect, to refine, and to reimagine."
I once taught within the quiet walls of the "Ivory Tower," yet a deeper pull eventually drew me beyond its boundaries—not just across physical borders, but into new intellectual terrain. Moving from China to Canada as a newcomer, the transition reshaped my life and career, allowing my interests to break free from traditional academic constraints and expand in entirely new directions.
This page reflects my journey of solving "small" problems through a series of patented designs. The subjects may seem ordinary—from specialized pencils and sharpeners developed while mentoring art students, to residential air filter pullers and ceiling boxes found in most North American homes. Each invention took root where a real-world problem met a simple, effective solution.
More recently, I have turned my curiosity toward the structural logic of web design, drawn to the invisible systems that govern powerful digital experiences. I am proud to introduce 3RE.APP, a platform Tentap Creation will launch in 2026 to make the exchange of second-hand goods both meaningful and effortless.
At their core, all my creations are guided by a single principle: to build something grounded in real human needs—tools that are useful.
Our proprietary technology rethinks the fundamental physics of ceiling fixture installation. By utilizing internal box seating, we eliminate the need for secondary support, turning gravity from a challenge into an asset.
Building on this logic, it is possible to integrate "click-in" or auto-lock mechanisms, enabling completely screw-free light fixture installations in the near future.

Changing a one-inch furnace air filter at home was a recurring task. Because the filter at my home sits flush in a tight slot, there is often no edge to grab, forcing me to hunt for makeshift tools—anything from a screwdriver to a butter knife—just to "dig" it out.
The Solution: I realized it shouldn't be this difficult. Beyond designing a series of industrial solutions, I created a line of "tiny, cute" tools: Robot-shaped HVAC filter pullers. What started as a personal fix soon resonated with others; people indeed were ordering it on Amazon in USA or Canada, proving that even the smallest real-world problem deserves a thoughtful, effective design.
